Rain slicked the empty stretch of Route 9 as the armoured police transport rumbled through the early morning dark. Inside, shackled to cold steel benches, sat two of the most dangerous men in the criminal underworld—Marco “Blades” Santoro and Vincent Raye, the cold-blooded strategist known as “The Architect.”

They were meant to be headed for a supermax facility. They never got there.

At 2:17 a.m., just past the old quarry turnoff, the ambush hit.

A garbage truck—stolen, retrofitted, and packed with explosives—ploughed into the lead cruiser. In seconds, masked gunmen flooded the road from the woods, silencers hissing, tactics tight. The transport was breached with surgical precision. Guards neutralized. Chains cut. Marco and Vincent were free.

Now, deep in the Redstone Forest, the stolen bus sat half-concealed under camo netting. A hidden camp buzzed with quiet urgency—duffel bags stuffed with weapons, burner phones, and stacks of cash were being loaded into three off-road jeeps.

The crew moved like ghosts, trained, and focused.

Marco leaned against the frame of a jeep, lighting a cigarette with bloodstained fingers. “Clock’s ticking. We don’t want to be here when sunrise hits.”

Vincent checked his watch. “Helicopter patrols cycle every four hours. We’ve got a gap—but it’s closing.”

One of the black clad men who had freed them glanced up from a jamming rig, frowning

“All trackers were fried. No choppers pinged us. We’re clean.”

But then the ground shivered with a low, distant thump. Another. A far-off spotlight flickered between the trees, followed by the faint wail of sirens.

“North ridge!” shouted urgent voice, the man grabbing his rifle. “Movement!”

The dusk lit forest erupted—flashlights dancing, radios crackling, the thunder of rotor blades overhead.

“They found us,” Vincent said coldly, eyes narrowing. “This was supposed to be a ghost op.”

Marco’s cigarette hit the dirt.

“Either they got lucky…”

He looked around the camp.

“…or someone just sold us out.”
